"Chilly Drama: Southern Spain Shivers as Polar Air Takes Center Stage"

As the curtain rises on this week's weather stage, the Iberian Peninsula's northern skies will bask in the calm serenity of an anticyclone, bringing a tableau of lightly clouded and clear skies. However, this tranquillity masks an impending climatic plot twist: a "dramatic" plunge in temperatures, with the spotlight on Andalucía, the southern gem of Spain.

Juan de Dios del Pino, the regional weather maestro for Aemet in Andalucía, Ceuta, and Melilla, orchestrates this forecast. He unveils that as the week waltzes to its close, the temperature's descent will crescendo, dropping the mercury by a striking 7°C.

The anticyclone, positioned like a watchful sentinel, will usher in a frosty breeze from the polar realms, dramatically lowering our thermometric readings. This chilly ballet will see daytime temperatures, which once pirouetted above 20 degrees, taking a graceful dip. By Sunday, they'll perform a climactic finale at a mere 16°C, a seven-degree arabesque from their usual heights.

Night time temperatures, too, will join this frosty dance, albeit with a slightly gentler step, descending by six degrees. From basking in above-average warmth, we'll find ourselves wrapped in a cooler-than-usual seasonal embrace.

Adding to this meteorological drama, the winds will make their entrance. Starting Wednesday, November 22nd, north easterly breezes will sweep across Andalucía with moderate gusto. By the weekend, near the Strait of Gibraltar, these winds will don the guise of moderate easterlies, occasionally intensifying to a more robust performance.

So, as we navigate this week's weather narrative, let's prepare for a symphony of changing skies, descending temperatures, and dancing winds in this dramatic atmospheric performance.
